STOCKHOLM (AP) – Britain’s Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, have arrived in Sweden on the second leg of their Scandinavian tour.
The royal couple were received Thursday by Prince Carl Philip after they landed at Stockholm’s Arlanda airport, where they were shown Gripen jets that took part in NATO’s air strikes in Libya last year.
Later, the Prince of Wales and Camilla will meet Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt and visit Fryshuset, one of Europe’s largest youth centers.
They also are to dine with King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia during their three-day stay.
Their tour began in Norway on Tuesday, and they will travel to Denmark on Saturday.
