Two-year-old Phoenix boy pulled from pool dies at hospital

PHOENIX — A two-year-old boy from Phoenix who was pulled from a pool Saturday night has died, according to authorities.
Around 4:10 p.m. Saturday, family members pulled out the boy from a backyard pool near 24th Street and Southern Avenue.
Family members began performing CPR until Phoenix police officers arrived and took over treatment.
Three minutes later, Phoenix Fire crews were on scene to take over treatment.
The boy was transported in critical condition to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No other information was readily available.
