PHOENIX — An Arizona movie chain is honoring the memory of the late actor Burt Reynolds with special screenings of five of his films starting this week.

Harkins Theatres announced that it would offer the screenings at four Phoenix-area locations from Friday to Sept. 20.

“Burt Reynolds was a true onscreen legend and will be greatly missed,” Dan Harkins, owner of Harkins Theatres, said in a statement.

“We are honored to invite his fans to relive some of his best film moments with us.”

The movies that will be offered are: Deliverance (1972), The Longest Yard (1974), Hustle (1975), Smokey and the Bandit (1977) and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1982).

Residents can catch the special screenings at the Arizona Mills, Arrowhead Fountains, Shea and Superstition Springs locations.

Tickets will be $5 each and will be available at box offices and online. Showtimes can also be found at box offices or online.

All proceeds will be donated to Best Buddies, an international non-profit organization that benefits people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Michigan-born actor died Sept. 6 in a Florida hospital at the age of 82.

His death was confirmed by his agent Todd Eisner. TMZ reported that Reynolds died of a heart attack.
