PHOENIX — Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker was ordered to show up at a Scottsdale civil court next month after failing to appear in July for a speeding ticket.

Court records showed that Booker was ticketed on June 18 for allegedly going 10 to 15 mph over the speed limit. The fine was $267.

He was caught by a speed camera. It was not clear exactly where he was ticketed. He failed to appear in court on July 18.

Booker’s next court date will be on Oct. 9, a day before the team was scheduled to play the Portland Trail Blazers for the NBA preseason.

Booker underwent hand surgery on Monday and will be out for about six weeks, as was first reported over the weekend by 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.

We want to hear from you.
