PHOENIX — Modern Healthcare named Phoenix-based Banner Health CEO Peter Fine among the most influential people in health care for the sixth time.
The health care industry magazine has released the list for the last 17 years to honor those seen as impactful leaders in the field.
Fine ranked 51st on the 2018 list, while President Donald Trump was named No. 1 due to his opposition to the Affordable Care Act and pledge to address high drug prices.
“I am proud to see Banner Health represented among the top leaders of the health care industry,” Fine said in a statement.
“This recognition is a reflection of the exceptional clinicians, support staff and leadership team who I have the privilege to work with.”
