3-year-old girl taken by mother located safely in Buckeye, police say

PHOENIX — A 3-year-old girl who was believed to be taken by her mother on Thursday was found safely in Buckeye later that day, police said.
Police launched a search for Mercedes Emma Binns after she was last seen in a faded black and red stroller with her mother, 28-year-old Roxanna Lararmart.
She was taken from her babysitter’s home in Buckeye.
Mercedes was last seen wearing a pink and white shirt and pink shorts. Lararmart was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and has long black hair.
Lararmart has no custodial rights to Mercedes. Mercedes is now in the custody of her father.
