PHOENIX — Are your kids constantly bouncing off the walls with no place to go?
If you live in Chandler, you’re may be in luck.
Coming Aug. 10, Uptown Jungle Indoor Adventure Fun Park is making its way to the Phoenix suburb.
San Diego-based Uptown Jungle, formerly Urban Jungle Fun Park, is a multi-level indoor park with features such as a ninja course, mini zipline, ball blaster and climbing walls.
The Chandler location marks the third installation in the Valley, with two other adventure parks in Mesa and Peoria.
“If you think back from the time we were little children, we were always being told not to climb on things, stop running in the house, or don’t hang on that, you’ll break it,” Bob Krause, the company’s creator and CEO said in a news release.
“At Uptown Jungle, we see guest visits as an escape for the untamed child in all of us. That’s why we encourage kids to come in ready for a challenge and discover what’s inside of them.”
While the adventure park’s primary audience is kids 12 and under, adults can get in on the action too.
Uptown Jungle features an adult lounge, filled with TVs, massage chairs and more.
“We appreciate the folks at Uptown Jungle Fun Park for their commitment to healthy play for young people,” Chandler Mayor Jay Tibshraeny said in the release. “We wish them the best of luck, and what better place to locate Uptown Jungle than in Uptown Chandler!”
The Chandler location sits at 2061 N. Arizona Avenue.
