PHOENIX — A 27-year-old man was killed Friday night in a hit-and-run crash near Dunlap and 35th Avenues, police say.

The Phoenix Police Department is searching for the driver suspected of hitting the pedestrian.

The male was crossing the street at 35th Avenue when he was hit by a car police believe to be a white Mercedes C320. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police are asking for the public’s help finding the suspect and car. The vehicle likely has damage to the front, department spokesperson Sgt. Vince Lewis said in a statement.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Silent Witness line at 480-WITNESS. Information could lead to a reward up to $1,000.

We want to hear from you.
