PHOENIX — Officials with the Scottsdale Police Department are asking the public to identify a suspect in a string of alleged armed robberies at Circle K gas stations this week.

The suspect is linked to three alleged armed robberies at three Circle K locations on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The first alleged robbery occurred around 8:30 a.m. Monday, when police say the suspect entered a Circle K near Hayden and Osborn roads, “simulated a pistol in his pocket” and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect was able to flee the store on foot with a “determined” amount of cash.

Police believe the same suspect used a similar method to rob two more Circle K locations — one near Indian School and Hayden roads at 5 a.m. on Tuesday and another near Mountain View and Hayden Roads on Wednesday.

The suspect was described as a 5-foot-7 white male in his mid-20s with a slender to medium build and short brown hair.

He was seen wearing a white sweatshirt and blue jeans in his first alleged robbery and a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, grey T-Shirt, dark jeans and brown work boots in the second alleged robbery.

Anyone with information about this suspect’s identity or whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Scottsdale Police Department at 480-312-5000 or turn in a tip anonymously to Silent Witness at 480-948-6377.

We want to hear from you.
