PHOENIX — A Florida health care solutions company is bringing up to 200 jobs to the Phoenix area to better serve its West Coast clients.
GuideWell Connect has opened a new sales office in Tempe, according to a news release issued Thursday.
“After reviewing several locations in the Midwest and Western U.S., we discovered the talent pool available in Tempe was a perfect complement to our existing team in Florida,” company president Scott Paddock said in the release.
The Jacksonville-based company said it leased 14,000 square feet of space in the Fountainhead Business Park, just east of Interstate 10 near Broadway Road.

The company plans to hire 100 full-time sales and management employees in Tempe and will add another 100 seasonal jobs during the health insurance open enrollment period from October to December.
New employees will receive three weeks of fully paid training to obtain their insurance sales licenses.
The GuideWell Connect website said the company focuses on connecting health plans, health systems and provider groups with their customers.
According to the release, the company doubled its revenue from 2015 to 2017 and serves clients in California, Washington, Alaska, Connecticut, Florida, New York, South Carolina and Pennsylvania.
