Phoenix Sky Harbor adds new way to get flyers’ feedback

PHOENIX — Ever notice someone working at Sky Harbor Airport doing something above and beyond?

Now you can let the airport know with just a simple text.

“We now offer our customers an opportunity to text in non-emergency incidents or if they would like to report some feedback or share how we’re doing that’s a great way for people to text in real quick while they are on their way in or out of Sky Harbor,” Misty Cisneros, custom service manager at Sky Harbor Airport told 92.3 FM KTAR News on Friday.

Positive or negative, big or small, Sky Harbor encourages its customers to utilize the new service.

“We welcome all feedback, whether it is somebody writing in to tell us what a great job we’re doing or an area we could potentially improve,” Cisneros said. “We’ve heard from everything from a restroom being out of toilet paper or a hinge that needs to be fixed down to the exceptional service that they received from a barista at one of our great coffee shops.”

Although there’s a new method to get in contact with the airport, Sky Harbor is a 24/7 operation, according to Cisneros.

“This is just another way for us to help reach our customers. We realize that we wanted to give them as many opportunities to provide that feedback to us so now we have all social media, and email and phone,” Cisneros said. “Text is just another quick option for our customers to share what they’re seeing, hearing and doing in the terminals and provide a way for them to tell what they’re feeling about it.

“We’re just in a modern age where people don’t necessarily always want to talk to person and they prefer to just send a quick update.”
