Sarah Sanders responds to report that she is leaving White House

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders responded to a report Wednesday that she was planning to leave the administration.
Sanders tweeted that she loves her job and is “honored to work for @POTUS.” She did not deny the report.

The tweet came shortly after CBS News said both Sanders and principal deputy press secretary Raj Shah were reportedly planning to leave the White House, citing “sources inside the White House and close to the administration.”
According to the report, Sanders told friends that she plans to leave the administration at the end of the year. Shah “has not yet settled on an exact date” as to when he will leave.
Neither Sanders nor Shah responded to comment from the publication.
If true, it would be the latest series of shakeups in the White House press department since Hope Hicks resigned as the White House communications director in February.

Other lower-level communications positions have also been left vacant in recent months with the departures of homeland security adviser Tom Bossert, Trump personal aide John McEntee, director of White House message strategy Cliff Simms, assistant press secretary Natalie Strom, deputy director of media affairs Tyler Ross and more.
A source close to the administration told CBS News also said there will “be even more people leaving the White House sooner rather than later, laid off or just leaving out of exhaustion. And it is going to be harder to find good people to replace them.”
