PHOENIX — Piper Plastics announced Wednesday it will invest $10 million into a new 90,000-square-foot facility in the city of Mesa.
The facility will be located in the North American Research and Development Tech Center in the city of Mesa’s Falcon District near Greenfield and McKellips roads, in close proximity to the Red Mountain 202.

“I think that’s why why they are going to be there and Mesa is going to be the beneficiary of that with the jobs and the investment they are making into our community.”
A global provider of high performance polymer materials and plastic components, Piper Plastics will begin construction on the new facility in July, with plans to begin operations in June 2019.
The facility will initially open with 130 employees before increasing to more than 175 over the next three years, with an average hourly wage of $20-$25 per hour.
