Phoenix police are asking the public for help finding the suspect of a Subway robbery.

On February 17, a white male between 30-35 years old entered a Subway on 16th Street and Thomas Road in Phoenix.

“(He) acted like a customer,” said Sgt. Jamie Rothschild of Silent Witness. “He went through the line and ordered a sandwich.”

However, when the employee rang up the order, the suspect threw a bank bag on the counter and demanded money, Rothschild said.

He did not show any weapons and was last seen on foot, Rothschild said.

The suspect is between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet tall and weighs between 250-280 pounds. He was last seen in a red or orange long-sleeve shirt and black baseball cap.

A female suspect acted like a casual customer at Sally’s Beauty Supply in April before going behind the counter and demanding money, according to Phoenix Silent Witness.

Now, police are asking for your help in locating the suspect.

On April 12, a female suspect entered Sally’s Beauty Supply on Bethany Home Road and 35th Avenue and waited for the cashier to open the register for a different customer.

She then went behind the counter and demanded money.

“(She) appeared very casual and she waited for the opportunity for the clerk to open the register while the clerk was waiting on another customer,” said Sgt. Jamie Rothschild of Silent Witness.

Rothschild said she “simulated a handgun in her waistband.”

The suspect appeared to be acting as though she was looking at goods near the cashier counter in the security video. She then went behind the counter, briefly interacted with the cashier and quickly left.

Her time behind the counter lasted less than 15 seconds.

The suspect, described as a white woman with short spiky black hair between the ages of 24-34, fled on foot.

She is about five-and-a-half feet tall and weighs 160-165 pounds. She was last seen wearing sunglasses, a green shirt with a white shirt underneath, black pants and white tennis shoes with black stripes.

We want to hear from you.
