‘The Color Purple’ is coming to ASU Gammage this week

PHOENIX — “The Color Purple” musical was coming to Arizona State University’s Gammage Theater this week.

The musical will be on campus from Tuesday through Sunday.
Tickets are still available.
Prices ranged from $39 to more than $150.
“The Color Purple” was a Pulitzer Prize-winning musical that was based off of the 1982 novel by Alice Walker.
It was about Celie, a young African-American woman who lived in the South in the early 1900s.
“The Color Purple” won the 2016 Tony Award for the Best Musical Revival.
