PHOENIX — Country music singer Jason Aldean made an appearance at Country Thunder on Saturday night.
He had a little business to take care of in Phoenix before his performance.
On Friday, Aldean visited a fan at the Barrow Neurological Institute who had been shot at the Las Vegas Route 91 Harvest Festival in October 2017.
Jovanna Calzadillas was shot in the head at the show, which Aldean was headlining. She wasn’t expected to survive.
The Las Vegas mass shooting left 58 people dead and 851 injured.
Calzadillas was transferred to the Barrow Neurological Institute from Las Vegas on Oct. 19. The hospital’s Facebook page said Calzadillas is making a “remarkable” recovery.
The singer presented her with a signed guitar and they posed for a picture together.
