PHOENIX — Folks looking to grab a cup of coffee in the Phoenix area on Thursday can get their caffeine fix while also raising money to a charitable cause.
Dutch Bros, a drive-through coffee chain, said it would give $1 for every drink it sold to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
The offer was good at all of its Valley locations.
Dutch Bros routinely raises funds for worthy goals.
The chain announced in March that it had raised more than $9,600 for the Arizona Tactical Officers Association on behalf of Glendale Police Department SWAT.
Two weeks prior to that, the coffeehouse brewed up more than $1,400 for Minae Wilkins, a Flagstaff teacher battling cancer.
“We feel it’s our job as a community to look out for one another,” Sam Sanchez, owner of Dutch Bros Flagstaff, said in a release.
“Mrs. Wilkins has touched the lives of so many of our youth, and there was no hesitation from us to want to help.”
