At least four people were injured and the suspect was dead after a shooting at YouTube’s headquarters in California on Tuesday, police said.

“We have four victims who have all been transported for gunshot-related injuries,” San Bruno Police Chief Ed Barberini. “We have one suspect who is deceased inside the building with a self-inflicted wound.”

A police spokesman later clarified that three of the victims were transported for gunshot wounds, while a fourth was transported for injuries received while fleeing the scene.

The suspect was a female. She was later identified as Nasim Aghdam of Southern California.

Aghdam was found in an outdoor courtyard on the campus, police said.

Aghdam allegedly used a handgun to carry out the shooting, police said.

Local hospitals said they were treating more patients.

Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital received at least three patients. One was in critical condition, one was in serious condition and one was in fair condition.

Northern California’s Stanford Hospital says it has received four to five patients from a shooting at YouTube headquarters.

Hospital spokeswoman Lisa Kim did not have information on their conditions or their wounds.

An employee inside the business tweeted that they heard gunshots.

Another employee Todd Sherman, tweeted (WARNING: LINK CONTAINS FOUL LANGUAGE) that he was in a meeting and thought the shooting was an earthquake. He evacuated the building but said he saw blood as he fled.

A witness told KTVU-TV that she heard multiple gunshots from her backyard.

“It went on for quite a few seconds,” she said.

Live video from the scene showed law enforcement running into the buildings while other people filed out.

A large police presence was also seen and officers were patting people down.

Google, YouTube’s parent company, said it was working with authorities.

The world’s biggest online video website is located on a suburban campus.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives was responding to the scene.

The White House was monitoring the situation.

The building has since been completely secure and police believe there is no more threat to the public.

Sundar Pichai‏, the CEO of Google, which owns YouTube, tweeted a statement.
