PHOENIX — Crews were mopping up and extinguishing hotspots Wednesday after a wildfire burned more than 300 acres in southern Arizona.
Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management spokeswoman Tiffany Davila said two outbuildings were lost in the blaze about nine miles north of Douglas, near the border with Mexico.
The Adobe Fire began about 3 p.m. Tuesday and burned toward State Route 191 before crews stopped its progress.
More than 100 personnel worked the 335-acre blaze.
