PHOENIX – The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Phoenix office announced Wednesday agents have arrested the suspected female involved in several Phoenix-area bank robberies.
According to a release, 46-year-old Yolanda Young was arrested on Saturday following a bank robbery at the Desert Financial Credit Union near 35th Avenue and Bethany Home Road in Phoenix.
Young allegedly handed the bank teller a note demanding an undisclosed amount of money.
She then fled the credit union before she could be apprehended.
Authorities later caught up to Young and determined her to be the female suspect wanted in connection with six other robberies in the Phoenix area dating back to October.
Prior to Saturday, Young’s most recent robbery took place on Feb. 25 at a First Convenience Bank inside of a Wal-Mart store near Thomas Road and 36th Street.
