PHOENIX — A residential development along with the seventh private golf course on north Scottsdale’s Desert Mountian will be appropriately named, Seven.
The development will include close to 190 new homes priced between $1 million and $3 million along with a par-54, 18-hole golf course to complement the already opulent subdivision.
According to the Phoenix Business Journal, all of the homes except for three will be located on the golf course, which has some unique features of its own.
The course designers, Van Tuyl Cos. and Phoenix based M3 Cos. plan to appeal to younger golfers and a more family friendly golf experience by including a lighted putting green, seating areas throughout the course and music that can be heard from the clubhouse and throughout the course.
Seven will offer a less challenging alternative compared to other courses in the Desert Mountain area.
“We are proud to welcome Seven to the Desert Mountain family,” said Desert Mountain CEO Damon Diorio.
Seven is one of the more contemporary names of residential developments in the Valley which typically include words that are in some way related to the arid landscape.
Homes in the area will range from 2,200 to 6,500 square feet and include custom, semi-custom and condo models.
Construction on the subdivision will begin in 2017 with the first keys being awarded in 2019.
