PHOENIX — Summer may be just around the corner, but a new Cirque du Soleil show will soon bring some ice to the Phoenix-area — literally.
For the first time since the show was first founded in 1984, Cirque du Soleil will feature a show on ice.
“Crystal: A Breakthrough Ice Experience” will hold nightly performances at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix from Thursday through Sunday.
The show will feature “world-class ice skaters and acrobats [who will] claim their new frozen playground with speed and fluidity as they challenge the laws of gravity with never-before-seen acrobatics,” according to the website.
“Follow Crystal, our lead character, on an exhilarating tale of self-discovery as she dives into a world of her own imagination.
“Feel the adrenaline as she soars through this surreal world at high speed to become what she was always destined to be: confident, liberated, empowered,” it continued.
Tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster. Prices range from $50 to $130.
