PHOENIX – Rescue crews from Phoenix and Tempe fire department’s rescued an adult female hiker off of South Mountain Saturday morning.
According to a release, the 45-year-old hiker had sustained an ankle injury after falling on one of the trails.
Rescue crews used a big wheel operation in order to transport the hiker to an all-terrain vehicle located on a dirt road nearby. From there, crews transported her to a parking lot.
