Two school buses crash in Apache Junction, injuring at least 19

PHOENIX — At least 19 people, mostly students, suffered injuries after two school buses collided in Apache Junction on Thursday.
Seventeen students and two adults were among the injured.
Most of them suffered minor injuries, officials said, but two of the children were transported to local hospitals for further treatment.
The crash occurred in front of Desert Vista Elementary School near Broadway Avenue and Goldfield Road around 4:30 p.m.
The accident occurred after one of the buses rear-ended the other while travelling at a slow speed.
Crews are still on scene treating the injured.
The names and ages of the victims were not released.
