PHOENIX — A Flagstaff cabin, located in the Coconino National Forest, was named Arizona’s most-wished property on Airbnb.
Travel and Leisure compiled data provided by Airbnb to list the most-wished for properties for each state and this 2-bedroom, 1970s-era cabin was selected as the standout for Arizona.
For $129 a night, the property provides a chance to retreat into the northern Arizona forest.
The two-story cabin gives guests a chance to see northern Arizona’s fantastic landscapes, as well as the occasional visit from wildlife, from all the rooms and the three decks.
The seclusion of the property also gives guests the opportunity to see the night sky free from normal light pollution.
It is northeast of central Flagstaff and provides a great central location to many activities, including being 10 to 15 minutes to Route 66, Northern Arizona University, Snowbowl Ski Resort and a number of other outdoor activities.
The property comes with two mountain bikes that are free to use to explore Coconino National Forest’s many bike trails.
The cabin also comes equipped with a BBQ grill, firewood, backpacks, a horseshoes pitch, condiments, spices and access to the contents of the refrigerator and freezer.
This was not the first time Arizona Airbnb’s have been recognized. Architectural Digest featured a Tucson-based studio as the most beautiful Airbnb property in the state.
