PHOENIX — A Scottsdale mansion disenchanted auction bidders as the home sold for more than $2.5 million less than the list price of $6.9 million.
The three-day online auction was sold with “no reserve,” which means that the house would sell no matter how low the highest bid was.
From Friday Feb. 9 to Monday Feb. 11th, bidders clicked away in attempt to win the exclusive contract for the mansion. It was hosted by Sotheby’s International Realty and Concierge Auctions.
Fortunately for the buyers, they were able to submit the winning bid for a discounted price of $4,375,000. The house was listed at $6.99 million.
The mansion is located in the Scottsdale Estancia golf community and features a 12-car garage alongside its six bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.
A 30-foot retractable wall made of glass separates the outdoor living space and the open Great Room and kitchen area, which is highlighted by a wood burning pizza oven.
The house is 12,971 square feet and that 12-car garage, you ask? It has a two-car elevator that allows you to transfer your dozen cars between the eight downstairs parking spots and four upstairs spots.
