PHOENIX — The city of Bisbee made Architectural Digest’s cut for one of the top 25 small towns in the country.
The publication praised the former mining town for its one-of-a-kind architecture which features Victorian-style homes and an Art Deco-style courthouse.

The city may soon see much more tourism as it has received a number of accolades this past year. It has made lists ranking it as one of the best places to visit, the best hippie town in the state, the best historic town nationwide and more.
Founded in 1880, the town lies about 90 miles outside of Tucson. It began as a copper, gold and silver mining town and was named after Judge DeWitt Bisbee, who funded the nearby Copper Queen Mine.
The city offers a wide range of activities and sights, including the Smithsonian-affiliated Bisbee Mining and Historical Museum, the Turquoise Valley golf course, Warren Ballpark and a number of art galleries.

The high elevation of the city offers residents and visitors an escape from the heat during the summer months, with temperatures sticking to the low 90s and upper 80s.
Located just a few miles north of the international border, the city can either be a pit-stop on a bigger adventure or the main attraction.
