Police: One-year-old child found safe after endangered person alert

DILKON, Ariz. — One-year-old, Delilah Nelson, has been found safe cancelling the Missing Endangered Person Advisory from late Friday night.
An alert was issued for a missing endangered person after the one-year-old child was taken by her father, who does not have custody, according to police.
The one-year-old, Delilah Nelson, who was believed to be in danger is now safe according to the Navajo Nations Police Department.
She was taken from her grandmother in Dilkon, which is roughly four hours northeast of Phoenix.
There was no update on the non-custodial father, Shawn Nelson who allegedly took the child causing the advisory.
Delilah was found safely at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday afternoon, according to police.
