PHOENIX — Pie Face Showdown is advertised as a Hasbro game that brings friends and family together for laugh-out-loud fun. Apparently Averi, from Mesa, Arizona, didn’t get the message.
The 5-year-old girl is now a viral sensation after a hilarious video of her reaction of being hit in the face with whipped cream got picked up by news sites from the U.S. to the U.K.
After realizing that she was going to lose the game, she tried to duck to try to avoid the whipped cream but still gets hit. After she got hit, Averi began to scream and cry hysterically before she fell into her stepmom’s lap in defeat. Her stepmom, Jillian, could barely contain her laughter as she comforted her.
In the video posted by her father, he wasn’t too sympathetic.
“We were playing pie face showdown as a family and let our 5-year-old daughter, Averi, win the first round, but on her second round she lost and was not thrilled about losing. Children are the sorest losers,” her dad wrote.
