PHOENIX — Four Peaks Brewing Company announced Tuesday that its beers would soon be flowing from taps in Colorado.

Based in Tempe, Four Peaks’ distribution list will now reach seven states with the addition of Colorado. The beer was already available in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas.

The company planned to sell its Kilt Lifter Scottish Ale, Hop Knot IPA and Peach Ale to several towns — Colorado first, with more brews to follow.

The beer will be sold in Denver, Littleton, Loveland and Fort Collins to start. Coloradans can use the brewery’s website to track down their favorite brews.

“We’re pumped to finally start sending our beer there and become part of such an active, enthusiastic beer scene.” said Four Peaks co-founder and head brewer Andy Ingram.

Four Peaks was acquired by Anheuser-Busch in 2015 which led to expansion outside of its home state of Arizona.

However, it is still one of Arizona’s most popular breweries. Its original location on Eighth Street in Tempe now serves as a full-fledged pub and restaurant.

Four Peaks Brewing Company was founded in 1996 and has four pub locations in the Valley, including a location at Sky Harbor International Airport.

The company has more than 25 different beers available, depending on the season.
