PHOENIX — If you’ve been skipping the workouts lately, we have some good news: The American Ninja Warrior Experience event at University of Phoenix Stadium has been canceled.

In a brief statement, ATS Sports International — the company behind the event — said it was off.

ATS Sports International LLC, the company responsible for the American Ninja Warrior Experience, is sorry to inform customers that the American Ninja Warrior Experience events in Phoenix have been cancelled,” the statement on the stadium’s website read.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you or your family.”

The company said ticket holders can get a full refund from the place they bought their passes.

In a separate statement on the American Ninja Warrior Experience’s website, organizers said the event was cancelled “due to unforeseen circumstances surrounding [the] production.”

An event in San Diego that was scheduled for next month was also cancelled. There are no plans to reschedule the events.

Tickets topped out as high as $90.

The live, multi-day event would have featured the same obstacles seen on NBC’s hit TV series.

The event also sold amateur tryout tickets for $120. Those who made the cut would have had the chance to appear on the main stage.

The top six qualifying times from the amateur tryouts and the invited athletes would have advanced to the finals on the main course.

The top prize for men and women was $8,000. Last place would have won $200.

We want to hear from you.
