PHOENIX – With the year coming to a close, Walmart released a list of the most popular online items for each state in 2017.

In Arizona, the retailer said the L.O.L Surprise Dolls series was the most popular online item.

The dolls, made by MGA Entertainment, first appeared last December  and became the No. 1 selling doll by April of 2017.

MGA Entertainment has a knack for creating fast-selling toys.

In 2001 the company created the Bratz series, which sold more than 125 million dolls by 2006, second only to the widely popular Barbie series.

There are currently 145 dolls across five series in the L.O.L Surprise lineup. Each package comes with accessories and stickers for the doll.

In Arizona’s surround states, the most popular items varied.

Cat food was the most popular item in New Mexico, while protein powder and personal travel care kits took the top spots in California and Utah, respectively.

Among the more interesting, was the popularity of mayonnaise in North Carolina and glue sticks in Maryland. The most popular items across the nation can be viewed here.
