Main Street Minute: Candlelight vigil in Phoenix raises $410K for hospital

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. Stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• A holiday candlelight walk raised big money for Phoenix Children’s Hospital. “Ignite Hope” collected $410,000 recently. Over 2,000 people participated.

• Amazon has expanded Prime’s free same-day and one-day delivery in the Valley and over 8,000 other U.S. cities and towns. The last day for members to use one-day free service is Dec. 23; Christmas Eve is the final day for same-day delivery.

Hop Social Tavern has opened near Chandler Fashion Center. The Phoenix Business Journal reported the restaurant seats almost 400 and includes two patios.
