Universal Pictures releases trailer for new ‘Jurassic World’ movie
It has been almost four years since viewers saw dinosaurs reek havoc on a luxurious island resort, and now we have the opportunity to see the aftermath.
Universal Pictures released the full trailer for the latest “Jurassic World” movie Thursday, as actors Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard return for “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.”
The trailer opens with Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) meeting in a bar. Friendly bickering ensues as Owen questions Claire’s dating life. However, she explains the serious matter for why she is meeting with him.
Soon after, the two are flying into the now abandoned Isla Nublar, as they embark on a rescue mission to save the remaining dinosaurs from the islands active volcano. Scenes of molten lava, explosions and a courtroom where negotiations of whether the dinosaurs should be saved ensue.
The newest movie is set to feature new and old creatures, including Blue, Owen’s raptor he raised since it was born. But, after four years in the wild, it appears Blue may not remember her former companion.
The trailer left many unanswered questions that will have viewers begging for more.
“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” will be in theaters on June 22, 2018.
