Living room renovations are most popular home upgrade in Arizona

PHOENIX — Have you renovated your living room recently? If so, you’re in good company.
According to Architectural Digest, living room renovations are the most popular type of home upgrade in Arizona.
But Arizona was not alone: 18 other states, plus Washington, D.C., had a high number of residents who were looking to renovate their living rooms.

The second-most popular type of home renovation was additions made to decks, patios, and porches, with 14 states across the nation looking to spruce up their outdoor areas.
Kitchen remodeling fell shortly behind, with 11 states marking that as their most-needed upgrade.
It was followed by four states that needed bedroom upgrading, two states that wanted to spruce up their bathrooms and one state — Tennessee — that wanted improvements to its bonus rooms.
The publication cited Google search data that was used by Empire Today to determine the most searched upgrade ideas.
