Four-vehicle crash closes a portion of eastbound Interstate 10

PHOENIX — A fatal crash has closed a portion of eastbound Interstate 10 on Tuesday evening, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
DPS officials didn’t say how the incident happened or how many people died in the crash. The crash involved four vehicles.
The backup started just before Dysart Road along I-10. Officials cautioned residents to avoid the area and to use Loop 303 as an alternate route.
As of 7 p.m., I-10 was closed at 107th Avenue. It is unclear when the stretch of roadway will reopen. There is no other available information at this time.
