KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. Stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• Before your kids load up on trick-or-treat goodies, feed them pizza for dinner. All 16 Fired Pie locations will offer a buy one, get one half-off Halloween special from 2 p.m. to close.

• Kids 12 and under get a free buffet at Cici’s Pizza with the purchase of an adult buffet and drink. Coco’s is giving costume-wearing kids 10 and under a free kid’s meal, while Krispy Kreme will hand anyone in a costume a free doughnut.

• A pair of companies from the northeast have teamed up for a big real estate buy in the Valley. Business Real Estate Weekly of Arizona reported the companies spent nearly $55 million for 255,000 square feet of space within the McDowell Mountain Business Park near Pima and Bell roads.
