KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. Stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• Renowned piano maker Steinway and Sons has chosen a Scottsdale gallery to be its only factory-authorized dealer in Arizona. The 13,000-square-foot gallery, formerly known as Piano Gallery, is near Scottsdale Road and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard.

• PetSmart is taking animal pampering to a new level. The Phoenix-based retail giant recently launched the Groomery, a salon-style store focused on pet-grooming services. A site in Scottsdale is expected to open soon.

• A number of employers are taking part in a big hiring event Monday in the East Valley. The job fair runs from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Phoenix Marriott Mesa Hotel near Center Street and University Drive in Mesa.
