Main Street Minute: Sprouts hiring for new store in East Valley

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. Stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• Sprouts is gearing up for its newest East Valley store by hiring more than 100 full- and part-time positions. The 30,000-square-foot store was scheduled to open Jan. 10 near the Loop 202 and Recker Road in Mesa. You can apply online.

• There are several big job fairs across the Valley today, including one at the Hilton Phoenix Airport Hotel near 48th and Van Buren streets from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There are also hiring events for those interested in government work: One near the Rio Vista Community Center near 83rd Avenue and Thunderbird Road from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and another at South Mountain Community Library, located near 24th Street and Baseline Road. That one runs 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
