KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. Stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• Healthy-food spot Farm and Craft is planning a second Valley location, this one to open neat year in Phoenix near Seventh Street and Missouri Avenue. The original restaurant is in Scottsdale at Scottsdale Road near Fifth Avenue.

• An NFL player and Valley native has donated $10,000 to his former high school. Tennessee Titans lineman Taylor Lewan made the generous gesture to Cactus Shadows High School in Cave Creek. The money will go toward banners for the football stadium, an industrial washer and dryer and other equipment.

• Employers in finance, health care, transportation, customer service and more are taking part in a big job fair Tuesday in Phoenix. The event runs from 9 a.m. until noon near Seventh Street and Peoria Avenue.
