Main Street Minute: Scottsdale company hosting job fair

• Local communications company Nextiva wants to hire 100 account executives and is hosting an open house Thursday. The event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at headquarters near Chaparral Road and Loop 101 in Scottsdale.

• Barro’s Pizza is now cooking up pies in north Phoenix. The pizza chain recently opened its 36th Valley location near Interstate 17 and Dove Valley Road. The 3,500-square-foot store includes a dining room with several flat-screen TVs.
