Teenagers arrested for setting more than 20 fires in Sedona

PHOENIX — Authorities arrested two teenagers suspected of setting more than 20 fires around Sedona over the weekend, police said.
The Sedona Police Department said the 15- and 16-year-old boys set the fires at three locations late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
The fires at West Sedona High School damaged outdoor lockers, an external wall, trash cans and dumpsters.
Fires were found at softball fields, picnic and gazebo areas, dumpsters, trash cans and inside the men’s rest room at Posse Grounds Park, located across the street from the high school.
Police were unsure if fires caused any damage at the Posse Grounds HUB, but there were fires there.
One of the teenagers was arrested at the scene. The other was able to get away, but was identified and arrested at his home.
The teenagers, who will not be identified, were charged with numerous counts of arson, burglary, aggravated criminal damage to a school and criminal damage.
They were also charged with minor in possession of tobacco and having spirituous liquor in their body while under 21.
