Main Street Minute: Sprouts to open 2 more stores in metro Phoenix

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. Stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• Phoenix-based Sprouts Farmers Market will be opening two more stores in the Valley, and seven others across the country next year. A Tempe store will be located at Elliot and Rural roads, and a store is going up in Mesa at Recker Road and Loop 202.

Wild Horse Pass Hotel and Casino is pumping $3 million into room upgrades. The 242 guest units are getting new carpeting, curtains, mattresses, 40-inch TVs and more. The project is expected to conclude in December.

• Humana and Iora Health have teamed up to add two Iora primary care practices to Humana’s Medicare Advantage Plan network. The newest practice in Sun City West is seeing patients now, the other one will open in Sun City in January.
