Police searching for Mesa home burglary suspects [RE-BROADCAST OF 1/21/13]
Oct 9, 2017, 4:04 AM
The burglars that hit a home near Brown and Greenfield in Mesa must have thought they hit the jackpot.
The burglary happened on Friday, Nov. 6, 2012 sometime between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
“They took a lot of items,” said Phoenix Police Sgt. Darren Burch. “Gold coins, jewelry, weapons, ammunition and even night vision goggles.”
The owners hadn’t written down any of the serial numbers and police have no idea what happened to the stuff. It may have been pawned or sold.
Burch is concerned that the weapons could be used against someone in our community.
“If you have weapons and ammo in your home, hide it somewhere that burglars can’t find it or use a safe if possible,” he said.
