PHOENIX — Four cities in Arizona ranked in the top 50 of a list that put U.S. cities in order of the “most fun,” but no Arizona cities were in the top 25.

Wallethub, a financial website, released a report that ranked the 150 biggest cities in the country. The rankings were done with metrics that fell into three key areas: entertainment and recreation, nightlife and parties, and costs.

Tucson, Ariz. was the highest-rank city in Arizona on the list, coming in at No. 26. Scottsdale was close behind at 31, while Tempe at 38 and Phoenix at 47 rounded out Arizona’s appearances in the top 50.

Mesa (63), Chandler (85), Glendale (97), Peoria (127) and Gilbert (133) were ranked further down on the list.

Metrics used to determine the rankings included restaurants per capita, accessibility of bars, the cost of beer and the cost of movies, among others.

Las Vegas was deemed the “most fun” city in America by the Wallethub report.
