PHOENIX — Travelers should be prepared to spend a little more when they drop their cars off at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport before they catch a flight.
The airport announced Thursday that it would raise parking rates beginning Nov. 1.
The rate increases were relatively small. Hourly rates will remain at $4 per hour.
The changes were made to the daily maximum price. The biggest hike will be in the East Economy lots, where the daily maximum is going up $3 per day.
The maximum at garages for terminals 3 and 4 will increase $2 per day.
Terminal 2’s garage will see a daily maximum hike of $1 per day.
Parking rates in the West Economy Lot will not change.
Travelers do have options to save money on parking, however. The airport offers discounts for parking reservations made ahead of time.
