Arizona Cardinals in middle of pack for in-game food, beer prices

PHOENIX — Fans getting ready for Monday night’s home opener for the Arizona Cardinals got some good news this week: They won’t break the bank at the concession stands.
According to financial website Cheapism, the team is about as middle-of-the-road as they come for its prices on hot dogs and beer in the National Football League.
The website said the average beer inside University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale costs $7.25, a few cents under the average price in the league.
Fans get a big break on food, however, as a hot dog will run just $4. That price is the sixth-cheapest in the entire league.
It kills us to say it, but the most affordable food and beer is offered by the Seattle Seahawks, the Cardinals’ bitter rivals. Beers inside CenturyLink Field are just $5, while hot dogs cost a measly $3.
The Seahawks were followed by the Carolina Panthers, Cincinnati Bengals, Houston Texans and Cleveland Browns.
The most expensive stadium food was sold by another Cardinals’ rival, the San Francisco 49ers. Fans inside Levi’s Stadium have to shell out about $10 per beer, while a hot dog will run $4.50.
It was the only team in the league with double-digit beer prices.
Other expensive teams included the Oakland Raiders, Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears and Washington Redskins.
