PHOENIX — On Saturday, U.S. Sen. John McCain died of brain cancer at the age of 81.

During his three-plus decades serving in Congress and two presidential campaigns, McCain racked up a lot of memorable television moments.

From the campaign trail to the Senate floor, he was well-known for exchanging jabs with constituents, talk show hosts and even former President Barack Obama.

Here are some of his most memorable televised moments from his career.

Gives interview as POW in North Vietnamese prison (1967)

Calls constituent ‘little jerk’ over ‘old’ comment (2007)

(Of course, Obama did not let McCain get off easy, eventually throwing some verbal jabs back.)
