Main Street Minute: Water park, theater chain offer weekend deals

• Wet ‘n’ Wild water park is saluting veterans, active duty military as well as first responders during the Labor Day weekend with free admission starting Friday. Up to six immediate family members will receive half-off the price. The fireworks show is scheduled Sunday at 7:45 p.m. The park is near 43rd Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road in Glendale.
• The American Red Cross and Sport Clips Haircuts are teaming up this month to help replenish the blood supply. Anyone who donates blood to the Red Cross will receive an email coupon for a free haircut.
• Harkins Theatres is kicking off its 84th anniversary with $5 tickets through Monday for all seats and shows, excluding Camelback at Fashion Square and IMAX. There is a $1 upcharge for the Cine Capri and $3 for the Cine 1.
