Texas man shown on video fishing in home flooded by Hurricane Harvey

Aug 29, 2017, 8:53 AM | Updated: 8:40 pm

Texans know how to make the best of a bad situation — even when their home is knee-deep in water from storms stemming from Hurricane Harvey.

This video of a Houston man catching a fish with his bare hands in the middle of his flooded living room is not only hilarious, but a great example of how to make the best out of what must have been a scary situation.

The video, which appears to be a series of videos from the social media application Snapchat, was uploaded on YouTube on Monday by a user named watch life 3.

The nearly minute-long video features a shirtless man diving in his living room, trying to catch a fish as multiple women look on, laughing as he tries to catch it.

The man ultimately succeeds, catching the flopping fish in his bare hands, a feat that is no less than extraordinary. However, it is still unknown whether the fish ended up being the family’s friend — or food.
